Book Review: Monsters Don’t Scuba Dive
Four kids, Eddie, Liza, Melody, and Howie are going to Camp Lone Wolf for summer vacation to have a great time, but instead they find a question that could only be unanswered.
While the bus goes thru the entrance the kids see a sign that says, ” Welcome To Camp Lone Wolf A Home For Every Plant And Creature.” When the bus driver pulls up to the side walk the four friends can hear a delicate sound of a bagpipe playing music. When they get off the bus Camp Director, Mr. Jenkins, is there to greet them. He tells all the kids where they would be sleeping. The kids settle in their cabin and then it is time for supper. The next day Mr. Jenkins introduces the kids to, Nessie, their scuba diving teacher. They go to their cabins and put on their swimming suits, flippers, and goggles. When they get to the lake Nessie makes sure everyone is there and that they have the proper gear on. She demonstrates what they would be doing. Nessie jumps in the lake. After a while she doesn’t come out of the water. The kids start to worry that she drowned…when all of a sudden they see a big splash come out of the water. The kids are relived. When Nessie jumps out of the water it is time to wash up and go to their cabins. Liza told her friends,” Can you believe how long she held her breath under water? I’m starting to think she is the Loch Ness Monster.” Her friends didn’t believe her, so she proved it by finding clues. The first clue she found was in Nessie’s name. She told her friends why. ” Nessie the Loch Ness monster”, she said. Her friends thought that didn’t prove a thing, but Liza didn’t care. She kept finding clues. One day the kids wanted to ride a canoe on the lake. It started to rain when they first got in, but they didn’t care. As the rain got harder the waves got bigger. One of the waves was so big that Eddie fell in the lake. He tried to get in the canoe but kept on slipping. He tried one more time and got in. His friends stared at him. It looked as though that he was frightened or saw something scary. His friends asked him,” Why do you look so scared?” He replied in a shaking voice,” I felt someone push me and I saw something shaped like a dinosaur.” His friends gasped. They never found out if Nessie was the Loch Ness monster, but they keep finding mysterious grown-ups at that camp. I think the author really wanted us to feel like we were in the story. I like how the author gave clues and mysteries and I hope he will keep writing these books. Hank The Cowdog : The Case of the Mopwater Files

Magnets Attract-Book Review
This chapter is about magnets and how they attract, did you now that magnets keep your refrigerator door stay closed, and magnets can be made out of special metals only, and a magnet has a strong pull, it clings on magnetic items. Inside a magnets are a bunch of atoms and all the atoms are lined up and facing the same way and that gives the magnet its pull. Suppose you place two magnets next to each other, you might think that they would clink together, but that is not always true, it depends on the way the magnets are facing.
Some magnets are straight and some are flat, like candy bars and other magnets are round flat wheels and still some magnets look like horse shoes. I think that this book that I read was amazing because it had a lot of intresting things in the book and it told me that magnets hold refrigerator doors and magnets are made of special metals only and that is why I like this book. Carnival at Candlelight Book Review
I recommend this book to other 4th graders because the books that I’m reading are interesting. Here’s the story: When Jack and Annie saw the letters they knew the tree house was there so they went to the tree house and found teddy and Kathleen in the tree house. They were sent on a mission to help Florence with the flood so they went and they got caught them and they were sent to jail and they used the rhyme. The rhyme was to bend metal and they got out. They saw Florence and he said to go see king Neptune and when they arrived at the sea Neptune arose and swept the water out of the city, and the city was safe.I like these books and i read them. I hope you read this book.
Book Review: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is about a poor boy named Charlie Bucket who lives with his mom and dad with the two old grandfathers and two old grandmothers. One day Willy Wonka announced that there will be five golden tickets inside the chocolate bars and the winners were Augustus Gloop, Veruca Salt, Violet Beauregarde, Mike Teavee, and Charlie Bucket. In the end Mr. Wonka gave the chocolate candy to Charlie because he was an old man and has no family. Then after that, Charlie owns the chocolate factory. The book was good because every Roald Dahl book has happy ending to the main character.
